Nasi Campur Rendang
One generally has better feeling from the Indonesian restaurants of Elmhurst than those of Chinatown. If you don't live in Queens, it's about time you made this trip to see what the cuisine can do for you, it's a guarantee of satisfaction.

beef cooked with spices and coconut milk served with rice, egg, jackfruit curry

Batagor
jakarta style 'batagor' fried fish cake and tofu with peanut sauce

This is a no-frills restaurant serving great, authentic Indonesian food. Seating area is a bit small, so be sure to arrive early. Notable is the courteous service and reasonable prices.  This place seems to be always busy even on a weekday. Just make sure you bring cash and your appetite, you won't be disappointed.
