6 envelopes of Knox unflavored gelatin(buy 2 boxes as 1 box only has 4 envelopes)
2 pints heavy cream
1 can condensed milk
2-1/3 cup water(use syrup from canned peaches + water)
1 29 oz. can sliced peaches
Procedure:
First mixture:
Combine heavy cream with condensed milk. Microwave for 3 minutes.
Mix 3 envelopes of Knox gelatin with 1 cup water.Microwave for 3 minutes.
Combine cream/condensed milk with gelatin mixture. Microwave for 3 minutes.
Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate until mxture forms a film on top.
Arrange sliced peaches on top of first mixture after first mixture has settled (at least after an hour inside the refrigerator) to prevent the peaches from sinking into the cream/condensed milk mixture. Optional:You can arrange the peaches to look like petals of a flower and then add marachino cherries in the middle to add color.
Second mixture:
Combine remaining 3 envelopes of Knox gelatin with 1 -1/3 cup syrup/water (add enough water to syrup from canned peaches). Microwave for 3 minutes.
Let 2nd mixture cool for a bit before pouring over the 1st mixture. Spread gelatin/water mixture over 1st mixture one spoon at a time.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour (preferably overnight)or until well settled.
