Exploring Places to Eat in Queens, New York (part 1)

Xiao long bao or Shanghai soup dumplings at Nan Xiang in Flushing, Queens

Soup dumplings have become popular and everyone in New York wants a taste of it.  We tried the steamed pork  and the steamed crab meat and pork.  In addition we also had the crispy noodle with beef. Then we saw our neighbor had the red bean puff, so we have to order that.

Everything looks yummy. It was our first time at this hole-in-the-wall place in Flushing, Queens. It has been written up in various blogs, that is why it had such a following even for non-Asians. After you taste their xiao long bao, you will understand why there is always a long line outside on Sunday mornings.
