BCD Tofu House

As in any other Korean resto, there is always the free banchan.  The banchan consists of: kimchi (staple banchan),  potato salad, steamed brocolli flowerets, candied carrots, pickled cucumbers and spicy bellflower roots.
The special banchan for the day is the fried corvina.

Soondubo or Tofu jigae with seafood (clams, mussels and a shrimp), is Trina's favorite. The broth made from anchovies and kelp is really tasty because of the addition of the seafood.
the "tutong",considered a favorite for those who have acquired the taste. Although not bitter to the taste, very few of those who belong to the current gerations care to even try the tutong. This place will add hot water, after the individual rice holder gets emptied into you rice bowl. I prefer to eat the tutong just the way it is.
Bimbimbap. mixed rice with vegetables, with some bits of meat and an egg. Considered as a one-dish meal as everything is there. It has the protein(meat), different types of veggies(lettuce, carrots, spinach, bean sprouts), noodles and kosari, a type of Korean herbs. This version has tofu with it, after all you are in a tofu house.

BCD Tofu House is a chain of restaurants in Korea and in the US.
