What will be in your foodie list when you travel to Paris?

when we planned our trip to Paris, we had brought a foodie list or special food items or dishes that one can enjoy only in Paris.

Charentais Cantaloupe French cantaloupe is smaller (check next photo)but sweeter than what we are used to in the US (at 4 euro a piece, every bite is worth it

Marche salad - foie gras with procuitto with blanched cauliflower, green beans. Julliened carrots and tomato wedges were also added. I had the same dish 10 years ago at the same place, Cafe du Marche at Rue Cler.
Macaroons from Lenotre; our favorites were the pistachio, caramel, coffee and framboise; I like the citron also (not in picture)

Mussles cooked au natural with white wine and some herbs is really good. We first had this Belgian mussles in Paris 10 years ago and then had it again when we went to Brussels from the same chain restaurant. It is a big hit with tourist like us.

Escargot
Of course, you will eat escargot when you are in Paris.  We went to a place recommended by an American food blogger who now lives in Paris.
Butter with Salt

On days that we just want something to eat, nothing  fancy, we go to the grocery store and get bread and anything that looks good.
Cheese is always good in Paris. The French do really make good cheese. However, when I saw the salted butter, ordinary butter does not taste good anymore.  Actually, the food blogger mentioned about salted butter.  It was not easy to find the exact brand of salted butter he blogged about.
