My Other Collection
In addition, to my 100+ cookbooks, I also collect refrigerator magnets. This collection reflects my interests in food and travel. I like to collect souvenirs from places I've been. Magnets usually are not expensive, mostly in the $2-$5 range. Sometimes, I can't avoid buying just one because some designs are really cute and artsy.
It started while I was at the airport waiting to get on board. The magnets are usually the cheapest souvenir you can pick up at the airport stores. I did not realize what I started from two magnets accumulated and now the space on the ref door is not enough to put up all my refrigerator magnets.
Some of my favorites are from my travels in the United States. I like the one I got from Connecticut(the yellow bear), Boston (the lobster), St. Jacob, Canada(the iron frying pan) and many more....
